How to Get Here?
Directions
The farm is situated approximately 75 km south of Puerto Montt, at the northern entrance to Chilean Patagonia. Getting here is part of the adventure, and the route offers beautiful coastal and forest landscapes along the way.
From Puerto Montt
From the Central Bus Station in Puerto Montt, take a bus heading south along the scenic coastal road.
→ 45 km of paved road leads to the small harbor of Caleta La Arena.
At Caleta La Arena, take a 25–35 minute ferry across the Reloncaví Fjord to Caleta Puelche.
→ The ferry is free for foot passengers and those traveling by bus.
→ If you’re bringing a car, the cost is $10,300 CLP (only the vehicle pays).
Once in Caleta Puelche, follow the Carretera Austral (Austral Highway) for another 25 km. The road is recently paved and leads directly to the entrance of the farm.
The bus ride from Puerto Montt takes around 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on the service and connection times. Fares range from $3,500 to $7,000 CLP.
